YOUTH
PROGRAMS INTERN

LEARNING
OPPORTUNITIES
Plan,
coordinate, and/or conduct educational or recreational age appropriate
activities for one or more groups of children 5 to 18 years of age (groupings
available: 5-8, 9-12, 13-15, 16-18 years)
Develop age
appropriate activities which are safe and healthy, and meet the physical,
social, emotional, and cognitive needs of each youth
Coordinate
and organize all details of activities to include staff, parent and/or
volunteer participation, supplies, facilities, and equipment
Program
areas - sports, social events, youth development, and school age child care
May choose more than one area based on length of internship
Assist
with administrative procedures and management
Front
desk operation
Registration
Resource
management - people, money and materials
Staff
scheduling
Budget
Supply
and equipment ordering and inventory
Assist
with public relations
Advertising
and marketing
Parent
participation
Assist
with NSACA Accreditation
Opportunity
