Child Development Center

Our Mission: to reduce the conflict between the demands of family life and the military mission, while improving the economic viability of the family unit.

Accredited by NAEYC April1999; preparing for re-accreditation.

100% implementation of the Marazon system in our center.

Facility Capacity: 210 children; which includes space for 21 infants, 30 pre-toddlers, 44 toddlers, 91 preschoolers & 24 kindergartners

The facility is designed with two wings joined by a covered walkway with an enclosed grassy courtyard between the two wings.



School Age Care

Our mission:  to seek to provide the highest quality, anti-biased programs and services to children five to twelve years of age. This involves ensuring safe environments, well trained staff and age appropriate developmental programs; thereby allowing parents to focus on their performance of the Andersen Air Force Base mission.

Program Philosophy:  School-Age children grow and develop best in a supportive, interesting, and adult-supervised environment

Program Location:  “A” Wing of CDC building 1625

Accreditation:  NSACA Accredited 7 June 2000

Staffing : 1 School Age Coordinator and 7 Program Assistants

Youth Center

Mission:  to provide the highest quality programs and services to children and teens 6 to 18 years of age whose parents are active duty military or DoD civilians.  Support the training and education of staff, so they may be positive role models and caring professionals.  Foster a partnership with parents and family members to support readiness.

Family Child Care

Mission:  to provide the highest quality anti-bias programs and services to children under the age of 12, whose parents are active duty, retired military, DoD Civilians and contractors.

Program Capacity:  98 children ages six weeks to 12 years.
