Overview/Mission:
The philosophy of the Child Development Center involves the
development of the whole child. We
believe that children learn best by doing, so we establish an environment
where a child can learn through play.
We provide opportunities for children to develop cognitively,
socially, emotionally and physically.
We actively engage children in interactions with materials, peers
and adults to encourage them to develop the desire to learn and continue
learning. This means
encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not
afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts.
Our goal is to help children become independent, self-confident,
inquisitive learners.

applicable) The Child
Development has been accredited by the NAECP since May 1996.
