Child Development | School Age | Youth Program | Family Child Care

Child Development Center

Overview/Mission: To support the 314th Airlifter Wing mission to ensure peacetime and readiness capability by providing quality child care to active duty and DOD civilian employees.
Accredited by NAEYC September, 2001
Staff: 62 staff members.
Capacity : 204 Child ages 6 weeks through 5 years of age.

 

School Age Care

Overview/Mission: To provide quality before and after school care to children 5-12 years of age.

Accredited by NSACA, December 1999

Staff: 25

Capacity: 147 children ages 5 through 12.

Youth Center

Overview/Mission: To provide opportunities for children to develop their physical, social, and cognitive abilities including opportunities for achievement and recognition.

Programs: Sports programs in Baseball, softball, soccer, and bastetball. Boys and Girls Club activities such as the Keystone Club, Torch Club, Fine Arts Club, Drama, TRAIL Club, and a Teen Center.

Staff: 10 staff

Capacity: 150 ages 5 years through 18 years of age.

Family Child Care

Overview /Mission: To train and empower Family Child Care Providers with the knowledge and skill to provide quality child care in a safe, healthy, loving and nurturing environment to active duty military and DoD civilians.
Number of Homes: 31 homes
Capacity : 200 children ages 2 weeks through 12 years.
Special Features: Lending Library, Office, and Training Room are in one building centrally located in base housing.
