Research areas include surface and subsurface hydrology, overland and in-stream erosion, wintertime hydrologic processes (soil freezing and snow melting dynamics) and distributed hydrologic modeling in GIS. The primary goal of the research is to assist in watershed/farm management to minimize pollutant loading to the lakes and streams of the Pacific Northwest.
