The Kids Klub uses the talents of local volunteers at The Kids Klub. The Kids Klub staff recruits local volunteers to come teach various subjects. Thus far we have had over 86 people volunteer a total of 1,020 hours. Some volunteers come to help with homework. Some volunteers teach classes. Community volunteers have taught subjects such as art, nature, basketweaving, crafts, beads, chemistry, science, babysitting, fire prevention, and computers. Several volunteers have been students attending college to become certified elementary school teachers.

Community volunteers that help on a continuing basis complete an application form including list of references and a background check. They are also interviewed and go through training prior to being selected as a volunteer.
