Drawing Tools in MS Word

Word Drawing tools may be required to answer some questions on course exams. If you are unfamiliar with the Drawing tools then you might want to read through this short tutorial to become more familiar with them. The Drawing Tools do not automatically show when you open Word.

· Select View on the main menu
· Select Toolbars
· Select Drawing

The Drawing Tools

The Drawing Tools will probably appear at the bottom of the Word window. There are quite a few different tools which will allow you to draw most any basic shape. In fact you'll find that many of the basic shapes are already made under "AutoShapes." Experiment with each to learn how they might best be used.
