Focusing on one waste management concern youth identify people who may be affected by the concern; collect opinions surrounding the concern; explain two or more differing points of view surrounding the issue; and explain the difference between a fact and an opinion.

Here is a sample of Fact/Opinion Cards that the youth sort into two groups, the FACT group and the OPINION group, before they begin a fast paced running game.

After playing the FACT/OPINION game, the youth gather opinions in their community using either the sample questionnaire provided or designing their own questionnaire.
